“Team Dumbell Man” Supports NextStep Fitness

PASADENA, CA. April 22, 2017 – “TEAM DUMBELL MAN” partnered with friends from the Pasadena Police Department to support NextStep Fitness at the world famous Rose Bowl.  The first annual “STEPUP FOR NEXTSTEP” raised funds for NextStep which assists people living with paralysis and other physical disabilities.

“Team Dumbell Man” Super Trainer Steve Maresca, led a group warm up class before climbing the stadium steps.  The team then climbed 1372 stairs around the top of the Rose Bowl.

The event raised over $5,000 for NextStep.

LA QUINTA, CA. | DECEMBER 15, 2014 – Griffin Ranch was initially conceived by entertainment and media icon Merv Griffin. Griffin, one of the first to recognize the desert’s promising future, purchased a large tract of rural land over 30 years ago, before the City of La Quinta was incorporated, to be the home of his Moroccan-styled estate. Adelanto High School

ADELANTO, CA. | NOVEMBER 18, 2014 – Adelanto is a city in San Bernardino County in SoCal high desert. The name Adelanto means progress or advance in Spanish, and was first given to the post office that was established on the site in 1917. Adelanto’s brand new high school opened this past August. The new PE Fitness Center and Athletic Training Room opened this month.

The Dumbell Man Fitness Equipment® (TDM) provided the design consultation, layouts and supplied the equipment for both of the exercise facilities.

The PE room features CYBEX ® 625 Cardio, VR1 Strength Training machines and a large ab/ stretch area. The cardio circuit also has VMX Rope® climbing machines and Concept II® rowers which enable students to participate in cardio-strength “cross fit training” environment.

The Adelanto Saints athletic teams will use the new weight room outfitted with Big Iron® free weights, platforms and benches.

THOUSAND OAKS, CA. | NOVEMBER 10, 2014 – California Lutheran University was founded in 1959 on a ranch donated by Richard Pederson, the son of Norwegian immigrants. The college opened its doors to 330 students in September 1961. The school’s Forrest Fitness Center recently upgraded their strength training equipment.

Located in the Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center on Cal Lutheran’s North Campus, the spacious 9,500 square foot Center now features a new line of CYBEX ® VR3 circuit and free weights. The multi-purpose exercise training facility serves the fitness needs for a student enrollment for 4100.

The fitness center is also the home of the strength and conditioning program for the Lady Regals and Kingsmen who participate in the University’s 20 men’s and women’s NCAA Division III sports teams
